Although I am a member of the Class of 1973, I am riding to support the great Class of 1975 and the great causes for which they are riding.
A little bit about me: I entered the Naval Academy from Monsignor Farrell High School in Staten Island, New York. After graduation, I served on USS Lafayette (SSBN 616(G)) and taught at Naval Submarine School. I left active duty after nearly 6 years and later retired from the active reserves. After active duty, I met the love of my life, married Margie and had 4 kids and 5 grandkids. As a civilian, I had various positions in the engineered machinery business during which we lived in 10 states as well as Canada, Mexico, Singapore and Scotland. We ended up in Hood River, Oregon where we retired.
I have been blessed with the good fortune of being able to remain active skiing, bike riding and playing pickleball and appreciate this opportunity to do some good.
