Our Charities
The Emily Whitehead Foundation
Tom and Kari Whitehead founded EWF to fund innovative childhood cancer treatments that are more targeted and less toxic, such as the CAR T-cell therapy - an innovation pioneered by our classmate, Dr. Carl June - that saved Emily's life.
The PKD Foundation
The PKD Foundation is the only organization in the U.S. solely dedicated to finding treatments and a cure for polycystic kidney disease (PKD) and to improving the lives of those it affects. Our USNA Classmate Andy Howard was diagnosed with kidney disease at age 32.
The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration
AFTD is the only nonprofit in the U.S. solely dedicated to improving the quality of life of people affected by FTD and driving research to a cure. Our USNA Classmate, Hut Lindner, is a beneficiary of AFTD’s dedication.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the world's leader in the search for a cure for CF and supports a broad range of research initiatives to tackle the disease from all angles. Our USNA Classmate Bill Squires has a son who has been battling CF since age 5.
United States Naval Academy Alumni Association and Foundation
The Naval Academy’s mission is to develop leaders of character. This “Development of the Person” includes nurturing critical thought and ethical reasoning. Our Annapolis years taught us about honor, courage, commitment. That commitment is demonstrated today by our investing in the Naval Academy’s mission.
